Victim identified, suspect sought in deadly Midlands shooting

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Richland County Sheriff's deputies are asking for the public's help identifying a person wanted for a murder on Ranch Road in Columbia Sunday night.

Deputies were dispatched around 11:30 p.m. Sunday to the 3600 block of Ranch Road, which is off Decker Boulevard. A man was found unresponsive on the floor inside an apartment.

Richland County Coroner Gary Watts identified the man as Brandon Jamar Goodson of Hopkins, and he died at the scene from "multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body."

Sheriff Leon Lott says Goodson's 2009, brown Nissan Murano SUV was missing from the scene. However, deputies located the vehicle on Monday in the 8100 block of Bayfield Road,
