COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Some people in Columbia say they woke up and found the tires on their cars slashed on Thanksgiving.

Residents say every car parked on Moss Avenue, just off Rosewood Drive, had their tires slashed. We're told some of vehicles were towed shortly after, while others still remain parked there.

Car owners are hoping someone will come forward with information.

"I mean this is going to represent a week of my husband's salary to replace our tires and we can't afford to do it right now, so we are one car down," Jennifer Little, a Moss Avenue resident said. "And I don't think anybody on this street can afford to replace all of their tires at once. So it's just senseless, you know, causing of grief for everybody."

The Columbia Police Department is investigating this incident.
