LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WIS) - Lexington County Sheriff's deputies say a man wanted for a deadly shooting on Thanksgiving has been arrested.

Michael Larone Williams, 28, is charged with murder. He was arrested early Friday morning.

Deputies were called to a fight on Harmony Church Lane at about 2 p.m. Thursday. Coroner Margaret Fisher identified the victim as 21-year-old Kevadric Akeem Pressley of Gaston.

Fisher said Pressley died at the scene from a gunshot to the head. According to the arrest warrant, Pressley was shot while sitting behind the wheel of a vehicle parked in the road.

Deputies say they spotted Williams driving at about 1:30 Friday morning and he refused to pull over. After crashing his car in a yard at the intersection of Fallaw Road and Blackville Road, deputies say Williams got out and ran off. A K9 helped get Williams in custody.
