LEXINGTON, SC (WIS) - A Lexington gas station is closed after a car drove into its building Thursday afternoon.

Lexington Police Cpl. Cameron Mortenson said that a 34-year-old male driver was parked near the Shell gas station, located at 911 South Lake Drive, when he backed into a concrete barrier. The driver then put the car in drive and drove into the building.

The driver was not injured and no one inside or outside of the building was injured.

Mortenson said the driver was given a field sobriety test and was found to not be intoxicated. He is not facing any other charges in the accident.
