One man in hospital after late night armed robbery
COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - An armed robbery late Friday night left one man in the hospital.
Deputies with the Richland County Sheriff's Department say they responded to the 400 block of Goodwin Way in Columbia for a robbery and shooting incident.
Deputies say the victim in the shooting said he noticed a car following him home from the Wal-Mart gas station on Garners Ferry Road. The victim went on to tell deputies as he walked to his home, 2 unknown black males pushed him down and took his wallet. He said the men then shot him in the lower body.
He was transported to the hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.
