Photo released of man wanted in theft from jewelry store

CAYCE, SC (WIS) - Investigators with the Cayce Department of Public Safety have released a surveillance photo of a man wanted for a theft from a jewelry store.

Police say at about 3:30 on August 15, a man distracted the sales clerk at Jewelry Warehouse on Knox Abbott Drive and stole a gold chain and a diamond bracelet.

The gold chain was an 18-inch 10K yellow gold Figaro chain with lobster claw clasp. The bracelet is described as 7-inches, 14K yellow gold with 3.5 ct total weight diamonds and a box-style clasp. The jewelry is valued at $5,000.
