Three wanted in attempted armed robbery at barber shop

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, SC (WIS) - Fairfield County deputies are searching for three men wanted for an attempted armed robbery Saturday at a barber shop.

The Fairfield County Sheriff's Office said that at about 10 p.m. Aug. 20, three men attempted an armed robbery at a local barber shop located near the intersection of Columbia Road and 2nd Street.

Witnesses reported that the three men left the scene in a burgundy 1999 or 2000 model Pontiac Grand AM with a spare tire on the front driver's side.

The first suspect is described as a black male, mid 20's, approximately 6'0-6'3 tall, thin build, short "dreads," a short beard, and multiple tattoos on his arms. Additionally, he has a wound to his chin and neck, which appeared to be recent and was described as a gunshot wound.

The second suspect is described as a black male, mid 20's to early 30's, short hair, mustache and long chin hair, a "flame" tattoo on the right side of his neck, a "teardrop" tattoo under his right eye, and multiple tattoos on his arms.

The third suspect was described as a black male, 20's-30's, heavy set and was wearing a white tank-top T-shirt.
