Inmate found dead in Midlands detention center

LEXINGTON, SC (WIS) - The State Law Enforcement Division and the Lexington County Sheriff's Department are investigating after an inmate at the Lexington County Detention Center was found dead in a cell.
The inmate, according to the sheriff's department, was found dead around 5:30 a.m. on Monday.
Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher identified the man as William Dantzler Day, III, 43, of Gaston.
A cause of death has yet to be determined.
