BATESBURG-LEESVILLE, SC (WIS) - The FBI has released surveillance photos from a bank robbery in Batesburg-Leesville in which the robber was wearing a "Jamaican-style" hat with fake dreadlocks.
The robbery occurred on July 15 at the Wells Fargo in Leesville at 10:50 a.m.
The FBI says the man produced a handgun and demanded cash from the tellers before running away.
"The subject was extremely efficient, spending less than 45 seconds in the bank," reads the wanted poster from the FBI.
Investigators say in addition to wearing large, costume-style sunglasses, the robber was wearing a "Jamaican-style knit cap that appeared to have fake dreadlocks attached to the cap." Surveillance photos from the robbery are attached to this story.
The FBI says the man should be considered armed and dangerous.
