Authorities seek robbery suspect in Lexington

LEXINGTON, SC (WIS) - The Lexington Police Department is searching for a man responsible for robbing a gas station on Sunday.

According to LPD spokesman Cameron Mortenson, an African-American man went into the gas station located on the 900 block of South Lake Drive and demanded money from employees while pointing a gun at them.

The man took an undisclosed amount of cash and left the business in a vehicle believed to be near the store.

Authorities say the suspect was dressed in all black with the exception of a red bandana covering his face. Surveillance photos of the man are attached to this story.
