COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - A pair of Palmetto State linebackers now find themselves on the Butkus Award Watch List.
Clemson's Ben Boulware and South Carolina's T.J. Holloman are just two of 51 linebackers on this year's preseason watch list for the award honoring college football's top linebacker.

Boulware was named the defensive MVP in the Orange Bowl after coming up with an interception and 11 tackles against the Sooners in the Tigers' 37-17 win to advance to the national title game.
Holloman – a 6-2, 230-pound senior – finished last season as the Gamecocks' third-leading tackler with 63. He also totaled two interceptions and three fumble recoveries for USC.
Finalists for the Butkus Award will be named on November 21. The winner will be notified on December 6.
