CAMDEN, SC (WIS) - Former hall of fame professional wrestler "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan is hosting a fundraiser for the Kershaw County Sheriff's Office K9 unit Saturday.

Duggan will be at the Chick-Fil-A in Camden Saturday from noon until 2 p.m. The restaurant is at 2211 West DeKalb Street.

Duggan is a Kershaw County resident and WWE Hall of Fame pro wrestler. He came up with the idea for the fundraiser after reading about the times the K9 unit was used to catch criminals, find missing children and Alzheimer's patients and detect illegal drugs.

Donations can be made to the Kershaw County Sheriff's Foundations, a 501 (c) 3 tax exempt entity. They can either be taken to the fundraiser or mailed to the Kershaw County Sheriff's Foundation at PO Box 664 Camden, SC 29021.
