Cars on fire at Sumter recycling center

SUMTER, SC (WIS) - Sumter firefighters were called to a recycling center where multiple cars were on fire Thursday night.

Sumter Fire Department with about 25 firefighters were called to the center on East Liberty Street Thursday. A spokesman says the two-alarm fire started at about 6 p.m. Thursday and has several vehicles on fire were at the center to be crushed.

No injuries have been reported.

At this time, crews are not sure how the fire started.
