COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - South Carolina added a little more firepower to their roster on Tuesday.
Delaware guard Kory Holden announced via Twitter that he would be joining the Gamecocks roster. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound sophomore guard out of Salisbury, Md., averaged 17.7 points per game for the Blue Hens. Holden shot 39 percent from the field and from 3-point range while knocking down 80 percent of his free throws.
Holden's efforts did not go unnoticed. He was named to the All-CAA second team after starting 27 of 30 games for Delaware.
Holden will have to sit out the 2016-17 season due to NCAA transfer rules.
