Richland County deputies are asking for the public's help identifying the suspect that purchased two $500 gift cards from Rite Aid, and two other gift cards totaling $1,000 from Walgreens. (SOURCE: RCSD)

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - An unknown suspect purchased gift cards from Columbia businesses using counterfeit money, according to Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott.

Richland County deputies are asking for the public's help identifying the person who purchased two $500 gift cards from Rite Aid, 8921 Two Notch Road, and two other gift cards totaling $1,000 from Walgreens, 9001 Two Notch Road.

The woman was caught on video surveillance and is described in her mid-to-late 30s, wearing eye glasses and a black hoody.
