COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - South Carolina Senator Tim Scott is continuing his fight to keep terrorism suspects held at Guantanamo Bay out of the United States.

Sen. Scott spoke to veterans in Columbia on Friday at Providence Home men's ministry about his faith as well as big moments that impacted his life.

He also took questions, most of which dealt with issues at the VA such as high costs and wait times. Sen. Scott also discussed moving terrorists out of the prison at Guantanamo Bay.

"I've been fighting this fight for the last several months," Sen. Scott said. "We've successfully kept in the national defense authorization a prohibition from bringing any enemy combatants to any location in the United States."

Scott also traveled to a boys' home in Clinton during his tour.
