Law enforcement officials are trying to come up with "how" South Carolina police will wear body cameras.
Friday, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Training Council put the final touches on body camera standards for law enforcement agencies across the state.
That includes guidelines on when police should be wearing body cameras, restrictions for use of the cameras, and the times they should be activated or deactivated.
Though each agency's policies must follow the guidelines, they are not limited to them.
The group hopes to have the guidelines out by Monday.
