Taylor's body was found dead inside a home on Windmill Lane on November 10. According to the incident report, when deputies arrived they found the house locked.

After learning that a gunshot victim was inside the house, deputies forced their way in and found Taylor's body in the bed in the master bedroom. The arrest warrant says Weaver told a friend she shot him in the head as he slept.

Investigators determined the shooting occurred on November 7. The arrest warrant also says Weaver admitted she shot Taylor.

"This investigation is ongoing and at this time it appears that Weaver and Taylor became involved in some sort of argument inside the residence when Ms. Weaver shot Mr. Taylor with a handgun," Summers said in a statement.

Weaver was booked in the Orangeburg-Calhoun Regional Detention Center to await a bond hearing.
