COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Fire investigators say a two-alarm fire at a business on Bush River Road Monday morning was arson.

The fire was reported at a business in the 1500 block of Morninghill Drive, near the Bush River Road exit of Interstate 26. Investigators later confirmed the building's address was on Bush River Road, and it was the Pandora Club.

The fire was reported just before 5 a.m. Monday.

The fire did not affect traffic on the interstate but police were directing traffic around a closure on Bush River Road. Few delays were reported.

Fire Chief Aubrey Jenkins said one firefighter was treated at the scene for injuries.

"He should be okay," Jenkins said.

It took firefighters about two hours to get the flames under control. The Richland County Fire Marshal's office investigated the cause of the fire.

The Fire Marshal's office determined the cause was arson and turned the investigation over to the Richland County Sheriff's Department.

Last month, Richland County issued a stop work order to the Pandora Club, claiming that the restaurant was operating as an illegal strip club.
