CAMDEN, SC (WIS) - There were very few dry eyes Wednesday as family and friends celebrated the life of a Camden teenager.
Drew David died last Monday from complications he suffered in a car accident in Camden. Hundreds went to his memorial and balloon release Wednesday at Camden High School where Drew was a student and accomplished athlete.

He was an organ donor. So far, his organs have saved five lives - including two in South Carolina.

Friends and speakers described Drew as a faithful, smart young man with a charming personality.

"You didn't have to know him for him to felt like you had known him all your life within a minute or two of knowing him," said Ben Hayes, Drew's friend and teammate on the Camden High School football team. "I don't know, it's just there's not many people that are like that and I think people are going to miss that."

There is a Go-Fund-Me page to help offset the medical expenses for Drew's family.

The cause of the crash that resulted in Drew's death is still under investigation by the Camden Police Department.
