CAMDEN, SC (WIS) - The Kershaw County Sheriff's Office says two teens they've been seeking for several days have been located safely in the county.

According to Capt. Steve Knaflec, Caroline Lynne Spigner, 15, was reported as a runaway by her mother on August 3. Caroline's friend, Savannah Joy Wilson, was reported missing on August 5 by her mother.

According to Knaflec, Spigner left her home in Camden at 6 p.m. to go to see a movie at the Village at Sandhill and never returned.

Savannah's mother told investigators the last time she spoke with her daughter, she could not talk to her because she said she did not have any minutes on her phone. The mother says Savannah has said she's talked to an "older man" from Florida.

Investigators say the pair were located at a motel together, but they ran to a nearby apartment complex where they were eventually taken into custody.

Deputies are now consulting with the solicitor, the Department of Juvenile Justice, and the Department of Social Services to see what action will be taken.
