COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Try and figure this one out without drawing a diagram.
The Richland County Sheriff's Department says two men got into two car chases that ended with two separate accidents with the exact same car.
According to sheriff's department spokesman Sgt. Kevin Lawrence, a deputy attempted to stop a car with two men on Interstate 77 near Fort Jackson Boulevard around 10:30 a.m.
The car, however, did not stop and the deputy gave chase. According to investigators, the pair got off the interstate at Fort Jackson Boulevard and made it all the way to Devine Street before crashing into a Shell Gas Station.
One of the men in the car was captured, but the other man managed to make his way into the driver's seat of the crashed car and took off again, deputies said.
The second suspect did not make it very far and also crashed the car a second time. That suspect, officials said, was captured quickly.
Both suspects, who have not yet been identified by the Richland County Sheriff's Department, will face narcotics charges as well as failure to stop for a blue light.
