COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - A man wearing a Pittsburgh Steelers jersey managed to make off with a handful of cash from a department store on Wilson Boulevard, according to the Richland County Sheriff's Department.

Sheriff's deputies said the man entered a Family Dollar and pretended to purchase an item. When he went to pay for the item, the cashier opened the register and the suspect, deputies said, pushed the cashier to the ground and stole the money.

Investigators said the suspect fled the scene in a small blue SUV.

The suspect is described as a black male, medium build, black ball cap, sunglasses, black football jersey with number 41 on it, a gold chain around his neck, and clean shaven.
