COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - The Richland County Sheriff's Department is looking for a man they believe broke into a 65-year-old woman's home twice, stealing a gun and several thousand dollars worth of jewelry.
Rodney Manley, 46, is wanted for burglarizing the home on Monticello Road on June 29. Deputies say he took a Sylvan gold necklace with two pearls, two diamond tennis bracelets, a large oval opal ring, a opal turquoise and silver broach, a .38 caliber handgun, two sterling silver bracelets, and Tiffany cuff bracelets, all with a total estimated value of $6,000.00.
On July 14, deputies allege Manley used a rock to break the kitchen window of the same home. Once inside, he allegedly made his way to the victim's bedroom. Investigators say she told him to leave and immediately called law enforcement.
Manley was captured on video surveillance equipment attempting to pawn the stolen items, according to the sheriff's department.
Anyone with information about the crimes or the location of Manley is urged to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
