Lex. Co. deputy suspended after domestic violence arrest

LEXINGTON, SC (WIS) - A Lexington County sheriff's deputy has been charged with second degree domestic violence.
Lexington Police arrested Deputy Brien Gwyn on the night of June 29 after an altercation in a restaurant parking lot with his ex-wife, according to a Lexington County Sheriff's Department spokesman.
Gwyn, who has served as a deputy since January 5, 2015, has been suspended without pay pending the outcome of an internal investigation.
He is being held at the Lexington County Detention Center while awaiting a bond hearing.
