RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WIS) - Two people have been charged after Richland County deputies found the couple making meth in a storage unit on Broad River Road.
According to Sgt. Kevin Lawrence with the Richland County Sheriff's Department, at around 11:15 a.m. an anonymous caller called the sheriff's department about a strange odor coming from a unit at Public Storage on the 3400 block of Broad River Road.
Upon arrival deputies and the manager of the property opened the unit and discovered a white male and black female making meth.
Tyler Akinson, 31, has been charged with manufacturing meth and simple possession of marijuana; second offense.
Akinson's accomplice, 27-year-old Arethea Steen has been charged with manufacturing meth.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.
