ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC (WIS) - Police have arrested a second Norway man accused of breaking into the town hall in March.
Jamar Rakeem Tyler, 22, of Norway is charged with burglary. He was arrested April 16.
Jamairre Daron Singleton was arrested earlier this month and charged with burglary. He was arrested by SLED officers April 8. He is being held at the Orangeburg-Calhoun Regional Detention Center.
According to the arrest warrant, Tyler broke into the town hall and stole "numerous items to include police equipment and vehicle parts."
The arrest warrant says Tyler and Singleton were armed with a deadly weapon when theyforced their way into the Norway Town Hall in the early morning of March 24. The warrant says Singleton stole a police radio and a 12-gauge shotgun.
If convicted, both Tyler and Singleton face up to 10 years in prison.
