COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Richland County's Sheriff is hosting a fundraiser to benefit the American Heart Association.

Some of Sheriff Leon Lott's deputies are hosting a hot dog cookout at their headquarters in Columbia on Friday.

Admission to the event is $5 and includes one hot dog, chips and a drink. Baked goods will also be on sale.

Lott says all proceeds from the event benefit the American Heart Association Heart Walk.
