(Columbia) Jan. 19, 2005 - It's battle of the brains this season on The Apprentice and the goal in the opener is to build a better burger. This time around it's two teams. It's the highly educated against those with just a high school diploma.

Former apprentice Bill Rancic explains, "I think this could quite possibly be the best season of The Apprentice yet. The characters that they were able to get from all over the country from, you know, rural Kansas to, you know, North Carolina, you name it. We've go people from all over the country."

Kelley Purdue is also a former winner, "They have to run Burger King restaurants in Manhattan and you're going to see the best and the brightest of both teams going at it hard flipping burgers."

It may be about burgers, but the stakes as Donald Trump spells out, are always high, "If you lose, you'll meet me in the boardroom, where someone will be fired."

The battle begins with that 90-minute special Thursday night on WIS at 8:30pm.
