One dead in Christmas Day fire

BAMBERG, SC (WIS) - A Bamberg woman is dead following a mobile home fire early Thursday morning.
Bamberg County Sheriff Ed Darnell says firefighters responded to a call on Lazy Lane around 3:15 a.m. Christmas morning.
Coroner Billy Duncan says Faith Lapp, 73, died in the blaze.
Two others escaped from the home outside city limits says Sheriff Darnell.
Authorities believe Lapp was in here bedroom at the time of the fire.
Sheriff Darnell says the fire may have started near a sofa.
The autopsy will be preformed Friday at MUSC.
The Bamberg County Sheriff's Office has requested SLED to investigate the incident.
