COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Two teens shot and killed a 59-year-old man during a break-in at a home on Greenwood Drive in West Columbia, according to the Lexington County Sheriff's Department.

The teens, identified as 17-year-old Terrance Tyric Jervon Flagler and 16-year-old Alex Jermaine Wallace, will be charged in the death of Roy Chris Cooper, Sr.

Investigators say the teens broke in to Cooper's residence on Friday night. However, officials say, Cooper came home and caught the pair in the act.

Deputies say Wallace then shot Cooper in the upper body. Cooper later died due to his injuries.

Wallace and Flagler, meanwhile, are both being held.
