Police: Suspect hit man in head with 'large rock' at dialysis center

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - A 55-year-old man has been arrested after

allegedly hitting another man in the head with a large rock at a Columbia area medical office.

Carlos Vincent Chinn has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly hitting the man several times at Fresenius Medical Care Columbia Dialysis Center on

Adams Grove Road Tuesday morning, police said.

Witnesses told police that Chinn argued with the victim before the incident.

Medical staff aided the victim until EMS arrived on scene, police said.

Police said Chinn left the scene but was quickly found and arrested on Gibson Road.

The victim continues to receive medical treatment for his injuries.

Chinn was booked at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
