COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Richland County sheriff's investigators say a group of three people stole a man's wallet from a Walmart and used his credit cards to rack up $10,000 worth of charges to a jewelry store.
Sheriff Leon Lott says the two men and one woman stole the wallet from the Walmart on Two Notch Road back on Sept. 12. That wallet contained the victim's credit card, debit cards, and ID.
Lott says the trio then used the victim's cards at J. Lee Jewelers on Decker Boulevard, Target, and GameStop.
Sheriff's investigators say the group was spotted leaving in a white late model Ford Crown Victoria.
One male suspect is described as being "medium build" and wore a white T-shirt with a picture across the chest, dark colored jeans, and two-tone ball cap. The second male suspect is described as being slim and having short hair while wearing a white T-shirt with a picture with a picture across the chest, camo pants, and white sneakers.
The lone female suspect, meanwhile, has long black hair and wore a red blouse and light colored jeans.
