Broad River Road house damaged by fire, cause determined suspicious

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Fire investigators say the cause of a fire at a home on Broad River Road Sunday night is suspicious.
The fire was reported just after 9 p.m. Sunday at a home on Broad River Road near St. Andrews Road. Firefighters say they were able to get the fire under control fairly quickly.
The home was vacant. Fire Chief Aubrey Jenkins says investigators have not yet determined what started the fire, but they believe the cause of the fire was suspicious.
Broad River Road was closed to traffic for hours near St. Andrews Road.
