Employees injured in fire at Sumter plant

SUMTER, SC (WIS) - The Sumter County Sheriff's office says two employees were injured in a fire at a Sumter business Thursday morning.
Fire crews were called to Carolina Filters Inc.on East Newberry Avenue for an explosion just after 9:30 a.m. for an explosion inside the plant.
Sheriff Anthony Dennis tells WIS two employees were injured, but the injuries are not life-threatening.
Emergency crews have cleared the scene.
