KERSHAW COUNTY, SC (WIS) - Three people have been arrested and charged with operating a crystal meth lab inside a Kershaw County hotel room.

Kershaw County Sheriff Jim Matthews said sheriff's deputies received a tip about a lab operating at the Economy Inn in Lugoff.

When deputies arrived, Matthews said, the trio spoke to law enforcement agents and gave consent to have their room searched.

Deputies say at that point, they located what's called a "one-pot meth lab" as well as ingredients to make the drug.

Deputies then arrested Michael Brass, 31, Heath Sanders, 30, and Jessica Norris, 29, and charged all of them with manufacturing methamphetamine.

All three have criminal backgrounds with charges varying from narcotics possession to disorderly conduct, and DUI.

Brass, Sanders, and Norris are all awaiting a bond hearing at the Kershaw County Detention Center.
