Midlands Grown Restaurant Week (The Tasty Tomato Restaurant Feast)

A celebration of locally-grown food, Midlands Grown Restaurant Week runs from July 12-18, leading up to the Palmetto Tasty Tomato Festival. Thirty local restaurants will offer special restaurant week menus featuring Midlands-Grown Food - meat, dairy, eggs, produce, grains and spirits all produced here in the Midlands and cooked for you by local chefs!

Summer Movie Series, featuring Chicken Run

Pageland Watermelon Festival

The Pageland Watermelon Festival highlights a summer season full of activities, including a parade, 5K Run, beauty pageants, music, food, crafts & contests. Saving Eliza Food Truck Rodeo

Join the Saving Eliza campaign on the corner of Lady and Main streets for a Food Truck Rodeo like you've never seen before. Food trucks and vendors from all over the city are joining Eliza's fight against Sanfilippo Syndrome, and you should be there, too. The event kicks off after Soda City to leave your stomach's full, and all those battling Sanfilippo Syndrome one step closer to a cure. Be a part of the miracle - join Eliza and the community for a fun afternoon of food, friends, and fundraising!

Snow Ball featuring Disney's Frozen

Join Elsa, Anna & friends this Saturday, when Harbison Theatre and Girls Rock Columbia present Snow Ball, a frosty-fun family event featuring Cromer's snacks, crafts, face painting, photo booths, an onstage dance party & more, followed by a screening of Disney's Frozen. Costumes encouraged; singing-along welcomed!

Palmetto Tasty Tomato Festival

Admission: $10 Adults, 12 & Under Free ($30 Optional Sustainable Midlands Membership)

Presented by Sustainable Midlands, the Palmetto Tasty Tomato Festival is a celebration of locally grown food – the people who grow it, the restaurants who place it on their menus, the markets that sell it, and the people who eat it! Activities include a free heirloom tomato tasting, live music, local food and drink vendors, tomato bobbing, and the highly anticipated Tasty Tomato Contests!
