6 arrested in drug bust, police looking for 2 more

SUMTER, SC (WIS) - A drug investigation lasting several months led to the arrest of six suspected drug dealers in Sumter.

The Sumter Police Department is looking for two more people.

Police say undercover officers bought drugs at several locations through the city. The arrests began Wednesday on a variety of charges involving cocaine, crack cocaine and marijuana.

Police arrested:

  • Chris Burno Abrams, 45, 2 counts, distribution of cocaine
  • Jamar Roachel Clyburn, 21, 4 counts, distribution of marijuana
  • James Travis Flowers, 54, distribution of cocaine
  • William Trey'von Jackson, 21, 2 counts each distribution of marijuana and distribution within half-mile of school
  • Marysue Laird, 29, obtaining drugs by fraudulent intent
  • Michael Gerald Leneau, 26, distribution of marijuana

All six were taken to the Sumter-Lee Regional Detention Center awaiting bond.
