Four arrested in Lexington County meth lab investigation

LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WIS) - Four people have been arrested in a methamphetamine investigation in Lexington County.

Sheriff James Metts says officers with the county's Multi-Agency narcotics Enforcement team found the meth lab Tuesday afternoon while serving a warrant at a home on Westfork Road near Gilbert. Two men and two women were arrested.

Officers arrested 31-year-old James Matthew Bennett, of Leesville, 19-year-old Raven Hayley Boatwright of Lexington, Dana Eugene Farnsworth, II, 32 of Gilbert, and 18-year-old Amelia Garrett Shirley of Lexington. They are charged with several methamphetamine-related violations.

They were taken to the Lexington County Detention Center to await bond hearings.

Metts says officers found meth, devices used to make meth, needles, pipes and a gun in the home.
