LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WIS) - Lexington County investigators are seeking two men who they say shot and killed one and seriously wounded another during a transaction that began on Craigslist.

Sheriff James Metts says the suspects arranged to meet Tycus Metricus Toland, 29, and Vonkeith Toland, 33, in order to purchase a car.

Vonkeith told investigators he and his brother arranged for the two suspects to meet them outside a home on Bushberry Road near Pelion on April 26.

When the group arrived at the home, the two suspects opened fire on the brothers, said Metts.

Tycus was killed at the scene, Metts said, and Vonkeith was immediately rushed to a hospital where he is currently listed in guarded condtion.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.

Witnesses describe one of the suspects as a heavy-set black male about 5'8" tall with short, braided dreadlocks. The second suspect is described as thin black male about 6'3" tall with closely cropped hair.
