COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - A federal judge has denied an injunction from the owner of an adult themed store on Devine Street.
Jeff White, the owner of Taboo, argued the City of Columbia made it impossible for him to operate due to numerous restrictions.
The city provided White with a list of sites where he can relocate.
White had said even if he moved Taboo, he wouldn't be able to continue selling the items he now offers because the city's rules are so restrictive.
White filed his suit in December. The suit claims the city tried to "thwart or prevent plaintiff's operation of his business," and asked for a temporary and permanent injunction "requiring the City of Columbia to issue the 2014 and subsequent years' business license and to cease interfering in the operation of the plaintiff's business."
