Fourth suspect wanted in Forest Acres home invasion

FOREST ACRES, SC (WIS) - Forest Acres Police are now seeking a fourth suspect in connection with a home invasion that ended with the shooting death of one of the suspects.

Police say 20-year-old Rayon Davon Wright will be charged with robbery, first degree burglary, attempted murder, and six counts of kidnapping.

Forest Acres officers arrested two others , 25-year-old Ellison Devon Hudson and 23-year-old Derrid Johnell Leaphart, in connection with the Linbrook Drive incident, which was referred to being in connection to "drug activity."

Police say the incident happened around 11:45 p.m. on Jan. 20 when three men entered a home at the address and knocked on the door. As one of the occupants investigated who was at the door, the men barged into home and started firing.

Police Chief Gene Sealy says as the men made it through the house, one of the occupants opened fire and killed 23-year-old Deshawn Patterson.

Wright is described as 6'4" and 170 pounds.

Investigators say he is known to frequent the Two Notch Road Interstate 20 and Interstate 77 corridor.
