KERSHAW COUNTY, SC (WIS) - Kershaw County Sheriff Jim Matthews says a recent class presentation about "good touches" and "bad touches" led to the arrest of a man now accused of sexually assaulting a child.

Deputies arrested 65-year-old Kenneth Parker on Tuesday and charged him with criminal sexual conduct with a minor under the age of 11.

According to Sheriff's investigators, a 7-year-old girl told a teacher about three different alleged assaults after the presentation.

That teacher immediately passed the information along to authorities, who issued an arrest warrant for Parker.

Parker has previously been arrested for disorderly conduct, third degree criminal sexual conduct, night hunting for deer, public drunkenness, criminal domestic violence, open container, assault and battery with intent to kill and simple assault.

An investigation is ongoing.
