COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - South Carolina senior quarterback Connor Shaw will play one more game as a collegiate player following the Gamecocks bowl game in late December or early January.
That's because Shaw as accepted an invite to play in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl in Los Angeles on Jan. 18, 2014.
The Collegiate Bowl gives potentially NFL-bound players the opportunity to show off their skills to NFL scouts and coaches months before the NFL Combine and the NFL Draft.
NFLPA scouts were in attendance during the Gamecocks' recent victory over the Clemson Tigers.
Shaw confirmed his invite on his Instagram account Tuesday night.
"Honored to accept the NFLPA Game Invitation on Jan. 18," said Shaw. "1st things 1st though, I've got one more game to win in a Carolina uniform! Thankful for the opportunity!"
The Gamecocks will likely find out which bowl they are attending on Sunday night.
