COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Police have arrested a suspect they believe stabbed a pregnant woman over a fast food gift card Friday night.

Columbia police investigators took 27-year-old Remonoter Pete - AKA 'Re-Re' - into custody Monday. She is expected to be charged with attempted murder.

Pete is accused of stabbing a female at 2024 Main Street shortly after 9:00 p.m.

Investigators believe that the two females were arguing over a fast food gift card.

The disagreement escalated to a physical fight and Pete used a knife to stab the victim in the heart and lung, police said.

The stabbing victim was taken to a local hospital where at last check medical staff listed her as 'critically stable.'

Pete and the victim do not have permanent addresses.

Pete is known to frequent the transit station at the intersection of Marion and Sumter Streets, Laurel and Sumter Streets and Finlay Park.

Police said Pete is known to have an unpredictable temper and was considered armed and dangerous.
