RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WIS) - The Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office says the car of a missing Lexington County woman was located in North and a person of interest has now been developed.

Deputies are searching for 40-year-old Kimberly Parrish, who was last seen at Helping Hands Care Giver facility on Dec. 21.

The report said between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Parrish went to pick up her pay check from her employer, and has not been seen or heard from since.

Deputies say Parrish was last seen driving an olive green 1999 Chevy Malibu with South Carolina tag HVT-700.

Sheriff Leon Lott adds that Kimberly has two young children whom she hasn't had contact with in the last two days, which is out of character for her. The Sheriff's Department has no leads that indicate any foul play but investigators are concerned for her safety.

WIS reached out to family and friends who are reluctant to speak on camera now with the pending investigation but, a Facebook page has been set up to spread information about missing Kimberly Parrish.

Many on the page are eager to start a search of their own.

Still many questions remain, but many are praying and hoping she'll come home soon.

Parrish is described as a white female, 5'3" tall, 175 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes.

Deputies say Parrish had an acquaintance in Orangeburg County.
