One of the suspects opened the driver's side door and demanded the couple's belongings at gunpoint.

The report said the male victim was then punched in the face by the second suspect. Then the armed suspect shot the male victim in the chest.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he is in stable condition.

They are described as black males wearing dark clothing including pants, jackets and shoes.

One also had on a black 'pull down' cap with ear covers. The other wore a red and black plaid 'pull down' cap with ear covers.

The suspects were seen entering and leaving the incident location in what appears to be a dark, late model possibly a 2010 to 2012 Dodge Avenger. The vehicle may have a missing hub cap on the left front side or a spare tire.
