Deputies investigate pair of shootings overnight

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WIS) - Richland County Sheriff's Deputies are searching for clues in two separate shootings overnight Saturday into Sunday.

Deputy Curtis Wilson said the first shooting occurred at about 8 p.m. Saturday in the Hunter's Ridge apartment complex.  Deputies say three people approached a car and during an argument with the people inside,  fired several shots at them.

Deputies say one of the three people inside the car was shot.  The victim was taken to the hospital where the extent of injuries has not been released.

Later in the evening, deputies were called to the Lucky 7 Club in the 7500 block of Bluff Rd. for a report of a shooting.

Deputies say two people were involved in an argument inside the club and the argument moved into the parking lot.  According to investigators, several people fired shots.

Two people were shot in the upper body and were taken to the hospital with what deputies describe as non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators have not released descriptions of suspects or the identities of the victims.
