Why should voters choose you in this election?

Competent, Caring and Committed.

Nelson Mandela stated, "Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world." In order to change the world of the students in Lexington School District 3, they must be provided the opportunity to succeed. School Board members must develop relationships with students, parents, faculty and all stakeholders. It is important to highlight the positive actions of each student and use them as a motivational tool for success. School Board members should embody the attitude they desire from their school district and live their lives as the example. Every day is a sermon that someone else could see or hear and every moment is a chance that could change a life forever.

Olin Eric Gambrell III is running for the Lexington District 3 School Board of Trustees. His knowledge and experience of working with local, state and national agencies will prove to be beneficial for the community. His 43 years of experience as a public servant will ensure that the schools of Lexington 3 will be provided the best learning conditions as possible. Gambrell will also make it a top priority to do "What ever it takes" to make each student's experience in education a success.

Education is no stranger to Mr. Gambrell. His wife, of 40 years, is a retired public school teacher and all three of their children are teachers in public schools. He has six additional reasons to make sure Lexington District 3 is served well. Those six reasons are his grandchildren who are current or future students in Lexington County School District 3. Our students are our precious resources of the future for our town, state and nation. They are the reason Olin Eric Gambrell III is asking for your vote Nov. 6, 2012.
