SPRINGDALE, SC (WIS) - Two men have been arrested after police say they were found operating several meth labs at a local hotel.

Springdale Police arrested 30-year-old James West and 45-year-old Darryl Bailey Wednesday.   They are held at the Lexington County Detention Center on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine. Bailey also is charged with possession of marijuana.

Police were called to the Cambridge Plaza in the 600 block of Cherokee Ln. at about 1 a.m. Wednesday for a suspected meth lab in one of the rooms.

Investigators say they found a meth lab in the room, and a lab in West's vehicle.  Lexington County drug officers dismantled both operations.

About ten hours later, police were called back to the hotel for a report of a suspicious odor.  The odor was coming from a different part of the hotel from the room where the meth lab was found earlier in the morning.

Officers arrested Darryl Bailey, who was living in the room.

Investigators say they found a meth lab under one of the beds and some marijuana.
